Green Atlantic @ Moneypoint is ESB’s flagship transformation programme, repurposing our key generation site in County Clare into a leading green energy hub. Through a series of innovative projects, we are supporting Ireland’s transition to a net zero energy future.

The synchronous compensator at Moneypoint has been in operation since 2023, representing an investment of more than €50m by ESB.
